The Best 3 Beauty Products Sold at Trader Joe’s
You all know I love Trader Joe’s beauty products (and their affordable prices!) and am continually trying out what TJ rolls out, so I wanted to do a recap with my top three favorites from over the past few years.
These are all products that I’ve bought multiple times and are currently part of my beauty routine. I hope you like them as much as I do!
#1 Trader Joe’s Marula Facial Oil
To kick off the list, I wanted to share one of my longtime favorites from Trader Joe’s: The Trader Joe’s Marula Facial Oil.
I first became aware of marula oil after seeing it on the Drunk Elephant website. But at $68 for a 1 ounce container (I think it was $72 for 30 ml when I first found it), it wasn’t in a realistic price range for me. So, when I came across the marula oil at Trader Joe’s at a much better price for my budget (about $6.99 for 25 ml), I was so excited to give it a try!
I personally feel like it does help with keeping my skin a smooth texture and helps me avoid any redness or dryness during cold weather. If you’ve never used any facial oils, I found this does not leave any sticky residue, but it does take a few minutes to absorb, so keep that in mind if you are planning to wear it during the day and/or add make-up.
When I first tried out the product, I used it in the morning post-shower. But now that I’ve started wearing a daily facial sunscreen, I switched my use of the marula oil to nighttime instead, just to avoid any potential interactions.

#2 Trader Joe’s Rose Water Facial Toner
So, I was initially on the fence about the Trader Joe’s Rose Water Facial Toner as I have some doubts about toners in general, but I now use this on a daily basis and have gone through multiple bottles of this stuff!
I love to apply this in the morning post-shower and before my moisturizer. I find the mist to be refreshing and my daily skincare routine seems somewhat incomplete without it now. I’ll be honest and say I’m not sure if it actually helps my skin tone or not, but I find it to be a nice pick-me-up! It also has a pleasant scent that I enjoy and I feel like it helps me start the day on a nice note.

#3 Trader Joe’s Nourish Microdermabrasion Scrub Exfoliating Cream
This seems to be an overlooked product at Trader Joe’s, but it’s one of my favorites (obviously).
As someone that wears a daily facial sunscreen and someone that sweats a lot, I need extra help cleaning off any dead skin cells and leftover sunscreen/make-up. But, I’m also someone that has somewhat sensitive skin, so exfoliating products are always a gamble in terms of irritation. That’s where the Trader Joe’s Nourish Microdermabrasion Scrub Exfoliating Cream comes in!
I find that the little pieces of pumice in this cream are effective at making my face feel clean and leave my skin soft, without irritating it. Like any exfoliating product, you should proceed with caution depending on your skin type and whether you have easily irritated skin or sensitive skin, but I personally found this is more of a gentle scrub compared to some of the exfoliators that I’ve used in the past.
I can also see the cream being used as a nice body scrub if you have oily skin or acne-prone skin on your back or upper arms.

Fan Favorite: Trader Joe’s Supreme Hydrating Eye Cream
I feel like I was overruled on this one.
I tried out Trader Joe’s Supreme Hydrating Eye Cream and I wasn’t the biggest fan. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it either. I found that it would cause my eye-makeup to smear and left a sort of greasy feeling on my skin. That said, I had several readers reach out to tell me they absolutely love this product, saying it helped ease their fine lines. So, I figured I would include this on the list in case it’s right for you and your skin type!
I don’t personally deal with a lot of dry skin under my eyes (my issue is dark undereye circles), but I could see myself using this in the winter months before bed.
