February 2021: What I’m Into
It’s time for another round-up of my current obsessions!
This month the list includes a romantic Netflix series, a killer 10-minute ab workout, and a potentially life-changing audiobook.

After being inspired by Grace Atwood of The Stripe (who was inspired by Cupcakes and Cashmere), I wanted to pass this question along to all of you:
What are you looking forward to?
With all of the uncertainty and anxiety of the past year, it’s nice to pause a moment and just daydream about what’s to come. Good things. Fun things. New places. Adventures.
In this post, I’m sharing four things I’m looking forward to!
January 2021 proved to be a big month of reading for me! Though to be fair, some of these were started in December, but took me a while to finish.
I felt like I had a really good mix of books this month, ranging from mythology to self-help to classics.
Here’s the list:
-Open Book by Jessica Simpson
-Pizza Girl by Jean Kyoung Frazier
-The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie
-Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man by Emmanuel Acho
-Daring Greatly by Brené Brown
-Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman
-Let’s Never Talk About This Again by Sara Faith Alterman
-Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
Let’s dive in…
Books, skincare, workouts.. oh my!
This week on the blog I’m sharing some of my favorite things that I’m into right now to start 2021. Let’s dive in.
It’s been a while since I’ve done a beauty review but after stumbling across Marula Facial Oil at Trader Joe’s, I knew I needed to share my thoughts!
In this post, I’m breaking down what marula oil is, how to use it, and why the oil sold by Trader Joe’s is such a bargain!
If you follow anyone in the fitness world on Instagram, odds are you’ve seen Bala Bangles. The weights, which can be used on either your wrists or ankles, are cute, colorful, and super photographable.
But at $49 for the 1 lb set, Bala Bangles are on the pricier side of ankle and wrist weights. So.. that leads to the question..
Are Bala Bangles worth it?
I have never consistently tracked my reading before now, but after using a book journal I was shocked to find out that I read 65 books in 2020.
Out of those, I’m sharing my top 10 picks of the year (5 fiction + 5 non-fiction) and my reading goals for 2021.
December proved to be a solid month of reading for me!
I read 7 books which were a mix of non-fiction and thrillers/suspense/mystery. I didn’t branch out as much this month in terms of genre, but I had some my favorite reads of the year!
Let’s dive in..
A glass of champagne (or your favorite sparkling wine) is pretty much synonymous with New Year’s Eve. But if you’re looking to add a new twist to the holiday staple, or picked up a bottle of champagne that’s not exactly the best tasting, I’ve got you covered!
With 2021 quickly approaching, talk about New Year’s Resolutions is starting to bubble up again. But if you’re feeling burned by 2020 (who isn’t!?), you could take a different approach to goals this year.
